If they could just stay sweet….

I would love to hear any one of #5’s opus the next time he comes to my house.
Karryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08529521910830890890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7317146076532815711.post-42339630007503609002012-11-30T10:13:34.255-07:002012-11-30T10:13:34.255-07:00I had no idea #5 was such an eager piano student- ...I had no idea #5 was such an eager piano student- that is very cool. He helped grandpa yesterday with cleaning up (after Grandpa threatened to not share his roadrace set with him at Christmas.) What a great kid. And that is totally funny about #4's Valentine book; especially when comments about clothing is made when they all wear the same thing.
Love, MomVickieGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01586706935693428325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7317146076532815711.post-33475699329548745102012-11-30T07:11:18.975-07:002012-11-30T07:11:18.975-07:00I love your kids! #5... what a clever kid! Our family has pulled away from the materialism of Christmas in many ways, and instead focused on spending time with those we love and serving. But I think we could do better at giving love intentionally, like your stockings. I hope you'll blog about the experience when Christmas morning has passed.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01583286432601536145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7317146076532815711.post-60168476772110848402012-11-27T22:54:29.879-07:002012-11-27T22:54:29.879-07:00My kids and I used to write notes to each other an...My kids and I used to write notes to each other and put them under pillows--apologies, reminders, explanations, etc. This year our family is having a "heartfelt" Christmas and giving what we would have spent on gifts to the Jordan-and-Heather IVF treatment fund, which will be used in a couple of months. We got some 5" felt Christmas stockings, wrote a name on each in glitter glue, and then everybody wrote a sort of "love note" to everybody else. That's what we'll open on Christmas morning. Prediction: it'll be the best Christmas ever.Pam Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17101099770476255954noreply@blogger.com
